Accessing the Overlay Generation Page

This feature is currently in beta and has not been designed for mobile devices. It is recommended to use a desktop or laptop computer to generate overlays.

There are two ways to get to the overlay generation page, the first is by going directly to this link: https://kartingstats.uk/overlaygen/ and the second is detailed below. The second method via the recorded races is generally much smoother and easier to use, as it will pre-fill your laptimes for you. However by going directly to the overlay generation page, you can generate overlays for any race, even if it isn't on our site.

1. Go you your profile page​

2. Click on the race you would like to generate an overlay for​

3. Go to the "Videos" tab​

4. Click on the "Create Overlay" button​

5. Select your alias from the racers list​

6. Select Generate Overlay​

You will be presented with the generate overlay page, with your laptimes pre-filled, making the generation process much easier.
